Itinerary Breakdown

Day 1: Bandaranaike International Airport → Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo, a lively beach town known for its golden shores and seafood delights. Check in to a luxurious beachfront resort and Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or taking a sunset stroll along the beach.

Overnight stay: Negombo

Travel to Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka’s premier spot for dolphin and whale watching. Take an early morning boat safari and witness pods of dolphins leaping through the waves. In the afternoon, experience the thrill of kite surfing or unwind at a beachside cabana with a tropical cocktail. Stay at an eco-luxury resort.

Overnight stay: Kalpitiya

Head to Trincomalee, home to some of Sri Lanka’s most stunning white-sand beaches. Visit Nilaveli Beach, where crystal-clear waters invite you for a swim. In the afternoon, take a boat ride to Pigeon Island National Park for snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs. Stay at a luxurious seaside resort.

 Overnight stay: Trincomalee

Travel down the east coast to Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka’s surfing capital. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, the waves here are perfect for an exciting surf session. After an active morning, relax at Whiskey Point, a secluded beach with a laid-back atmosphere.

Overnight stay: Arugam Bay

Start the day with a short hike to Elephant Rock, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic coastal views. Enjoy a secluded swim at its hidden beach. In the evening, embark on a lagoon safari at Pottuvil Lagoon, where you can spot elephants, crocodiles, and exotic bird species. Unwind with a beachfront seafood BBQ.

Overnight stay: Arugam Bay

Travel along the southern coastline to Tangalle, a hidden gem with untouched beaches. Check in to a luxurious beachfront resort and Spend the day relaxing on Silent Beach or visiting the Hiriketiya Bay, a perfect spot for swimming. In the evening, take a guided night tour to Rekawa Beach, where you can witness sea turtles nesting under the moonlight.

Overnight stay: Tangalle

Head to Mirissa, famous for its whale-watching tours. Set off on an early morning boat ride for a chance to see blue whales, sperm whales, and playful dolphins. Later, visit Secret Beach, a hidden cove ideal for sunbathing and swimming.

Overnight stay: Galle

Spend the morning at Unawatuna Beach, where you can swim, snorkel, or relax under the sun. Visit Jungle Beach, a secluded spot surrounded by lush greenery. In the afternoon, explore Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site with charming colonial streets, boutique shops, and oceanfront cafes.

Overnight stay: Galle

On your final day, travel to Colombo for some last-minute shopping and a farewell seafood lunch. Transfer to the airport for your departure, carrying unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful beaches.

Inclusions

  • Accommodation from 3 to 5-star hotels; Star category can change upon request. (The standard check-in time at all hotels is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM.)
  • Breakfast included at the hotels; Other meals can be added upon request.
  • Transportation by air–conditioned vehicle throughout the tour.
  • Service provided by an “English speaking chauffeur guide” throughout the tour.
  • Airport transfers to and from Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Cost of driver and vehicle.
  • All toll and parking fees.
  • All applicable government taxes and service charges during the tour.

Exclusions

  • Airfare to and from Sri Lanka is not included.
  • Travel Insurance and Visa fees and arrangements are not included and should be obtained by the traveler prior to arrival in Sri Lanka.
