About Adam’s Peak
Adam’s Peak (Sri Pada) is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic and sacred mountains, standing at 2,243 meters (7,359 feet). It is revered by Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, and Muslims due to the sacred footprint (Sri Pada) at its summit, believed to belong to Lord Buddha, Lord Shiva, or Adam depending on religious beliefs.
Beyond its spiritual significance, Adam’s Peak offers an incredible hiking experience, with a breathtaking sunrise view from the summit.
